I had a career spanning 41 years with The Boeing Company.
During my years there, I worked commercial and military
aircraft on both the research & development and commercial
sides of Boeing. Sixty percent of the years I spent at
Boeing were as a Quality Assurance manager. In that
position, I managed crews all over Puget Sound, as far south
as Frederickson and as far north as Tulalip. I was
also fortunate to teach at Renton Vocational Tech and was a
member of both the Clover
Park Tech College Advisory Board and the Boeing
Technical Principal Review Board.
I
married my high school sweetheart, Leslie (Wilson) from
Normandy Park / Mount Rainier High School. We were
married in 1976 and shortly after relocated to Federal Way
where we became a family raising our two daughters, Suzanne
and Kim. We
lived
in Federal Way for about 40 years.
I retired from Boeing in 2017 and we relocated to San Diego
for four years. Leslie and I are currently extremely
happy living in Central Oregon where we purchased a home two
years ago. We greatly enjoyed boating here in Puget
Sound, however have transferred over to camping.
